Philanthropic Mission
Photography is an artform which can send powerful messages, and transcend spoken language. We believe that photography can be used to help make the world a better place. We use our challenge promotions to spread awareness of valuable and life-changing work which is being done by charitable and non-profit organizations around the world. With a combined network of thousands of people and businesses internationally, our team has the ability to effect change. With each additional participant in our challenges, our reach extends, and awareness and education spreads.

Bird and Animal Welfare, Habitat Conservation, and Protection
With our November 2020 challenge promotions, we shined light upon select charitable and non-profit organizations which are doing work in the areas of bird and animal welfare, habitat conservation, and protection of endangered and threatened species.

Animal Welfare Institute (AWI)
Since 1951, the Animal Welfare Institute has been alleviating suffering inflicted on animals by humans. Through engagement with policymakers, scientists, industry, and the public, AWI seeks to:
*Abolish factory farms, support high-welfare family farms, and achieve humane slaughter for animals raised for food;
*Improve the housing and handling of animals in research, and encourage the development and implementation of alternatives to experimentation on live animals;
*End the use of steel-jaw leghold traps and reform other brutal methods of capturing and killing wildlife;
*Preserve species threatened with extinction, and protect wildlife from harmful exploitation and destruction of critical habitat;
*Protect companion animals from cruelty and violence, including appalling conditions in commercial trade; and

*Prevent injury and death of animals caused by harsh transport conditions.

Global Wildlife Conservation
The diversity of life and all its connections make Earth different from all other planets. The air we breathe and the food we eat rely on biodiversity. The mission of Global Wildlife Conservation is to conserve the diversity of life on Earth, where all of life has value and can flourish - plant, animal, and human. Since 2008, Global Wildlife Conservation has worked with partners in more than 50 countries worldwide and helped establish more than 30 new protected areas home to more than 150 endangered species and a staggering 20,000 species overall. International Animal Rescue
International Animal Rescue's vision is a world where humans and animals coexist in sustainable ecosystems. Their mission is to build awareness and implement effective systems such that habitats and animals are protected. International Animal Rescue works to not only save animals from suffering, but also rehabilitate and release them back into the wild and work to protect their precious natural habitats. As human populations expand, wildlife comes under increasing threat. By rescuing individual animals and reintroducing them into protected areas in the wild, International Animal Rescue's work also plays a role in the conservation of the species as a whole.
